These have a substandard finish, most sheets have been scuffed during the cutting process, the remainder having been defective when supplied.
The damage varies, some sheets only have one or two blemishes, some are scuffed over the whole surface, they may be marked on both sides or just one. They are a very economic solution when the surface finish doesn't matter, perhaps when being used for internal structures of where a further finish is to be applied.
