Studding (Wood to Metal)
A mild steel stud, with a metric thread at one end, wood screw type thread at the other. Useful when restricted access prevents the use of a through bolt. Also good for reducing the number of hands needed for baseboard assembly!
There is no screwdriver slot, it can be fitted by tightening a pair of nuts onto the thread, then screw into the wood by using a spanner or socket on the top nut. Once fitted, it should be considered a permanent fixture, but it can be removed, again with a pair of lock nuts, but this time place the spanner on the bottom nut.
