Available in two screw lengths.
The head has a nylon cap to protect the floor, it both rotates & also swivels by about 5 degrees. A nut is included to provide spanner flats for easy adjustment. This nut will need to be secured to the screw, perhaps with epoxy adhesive or thread lock. A 17mm Spanner is needed for adjustment
The adjuster should be fitted into a stepped hole 11mm diameter by 11 deep to give a firm push fit for the âTâ nut, the rest of the depth drilled to 10mm diameter to ensure good lateral support for the screw. The leg should be at least 38mm square.
Maximum Recommended Adjustment:
60mm screw: 20mm
80mm screw: 30mm
There is capacity to adjust further but that would reduce the length of screw within the baseboard leg. This would increase the load on the âTâ nut in the case of sideways forces from the leg being kicked, possibly causing the adjuster to work loose. For this reason the size of the clearance hole for the screw should be no more than 10mm.
These height adjusters were designed to support furniture plinths, far heavier than any baseboard.
